From the small town to the big unknown...
I am a senior in college...ok...a SUPER senior. I switched majors a few times before I realized that teaching was what I really wanted to do. It took me a while to figure out the passion that God had put in me, but it all happens in God's time. This last year has been a good one. It has been full of fun times and amazing people and intense learning experiences.
I'm about to go on several adventures and I want to share them with friends and family that want to keep in touch and up to date with me and my life's events.
I'm in a time of my life where adventure and experience of the unknown is what keeps me excited for life. I want to travel and venture out from the security of things that are familiar. I want to be a better person and a better teacher because of what I will experience through this time.
This is the last time in my life that I will have a chance to take these adventures before life becomes more complicating and full of more long-term commitments. I'm not ready for that. I want to experience this world and all of the incredible opportunities that are out there. I want to take the exciting risks of going to unfamiliar places and experiencing cultures and traditions that a person can only understand when they are being a part of it.
